Specialists in designing and creating Teddy Bears for over thirty years, Patti & Graham Cavenett and daughter, Kryst Burke have travelled the world, attending shows and conducting workshops with other internationally renowned bear artists while managing their retail boutiques supplying many other outlets.

As avid collectors of Vintage and Antique Collectibles and Crafts, they agreed that handcrafted Character bears and critters was the next progression.  In 2000 “Kympatti” (with the help of many artist friends) held their first “All Teddy Fair”.  It was a lavish affair in a prestigious venue, and was a huge success, with Top Artists, Visitors and Traders attending.  In 2008, the show was opened to Dolls, Crafts, & Collectibles exhibitors. The venue was fully booked.

Based at BUNDALL on the Gold Coast, Australia, Kympatti Studio is a treasure trove of fabrics, accessories, kits, completed bears, beads, flowers and accessories.  Kympatti are still very involved with the design and production of their very popular kits and patterns, with attention now being given to special requests and commissions.  

Kympatti Bears enjoys a reputation for creativity, quality and craftsmanship throughout the Bear Making World.  They feel privileged to be part of a wonderful lifestyle of fantasy and imagination, world travel, and the inspiration of a worldwide community of great friends.
