Sherry Wen , Anything Handcrafted

Sherry (Hsuan-wen) Wen was born in Taiwan, she grew up there and graduated as a Master in biology. She moved and has lived in South Africa for 15 years. It was there she discovered polymer clay and became interested. It has now become a passion for her!

Sherry moved back to Taiwan in 2012 and through constantly evolving in polymer clay; she is the first Taiwanese lady who won a masters title from the Japan Fimo Craft Club. In 2015, she discovered the world of dollhouse miniatures and this became her main focus under her brand name “Anything Handcrafted”. She strives to deliver an enriching and fulfilling experience for her craft workshop participants with her years of experience and the beauty of multiculturalism. Sherry further dabbled in other disciplines including clay canning, creating miniatures, making clay food and jointed clay teddy bears. This has allowed her to travel far and wide to participate shows in South Africa, Japan, Hungry and China in the past 2 years. Her sales are both retail and wholesale and she also teaches polymer clay classes.

In 2019, a brand was established as “WENWENWORKS” focusing on functional clay art. Sherry believes that practical products can truly integrate art into life. By applying polymer clay with the unique technique onto pure titanium chopsticks, she aims to create art “Convenient and beautiful enough to make people want to carry it at any time”. Behind the art, she conveys the concept of loving the earth to more people. Teddy Bear design was one of the hot selling series. Formosan Black Bear design was launched in August 2020.
