The artist behind CraneBeary is none other than Hiew Sim Yee herself. A chance encounter of Miniature Teddies and Dollhouse Teddies from magazines and books has inspired her to learn the Art of Teddy Bear Making.
A self-taught Singaporean Artist, Sim Yee, went on to design and create her own Teddy Bears and developed her unique style. She continued to improve her skills and master more difficult techniques by taking workshops from renowned Teddy Bear Artist, Wayne Lim of Wayneston Studios.
