Ekaterina Bushmakina is from Russia. She started making Teddy Bears in 2010. She is a designer by profession, but is now a full time Teddy Bear Artist.

Ekaterina takes part in various exhibitions mainly in Russia and Germany. Her Teddy Bears have travelled around the world to such places as Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the USA, Japan, Norway and many other countries. They are all meant for private collections.

Ekaterina does not create custom orders. She believes that her creativity should be free.

Her bears have very complex construction and which is created according to her innovative ideas. She only uses the best materials, alpaca in general, and never any synthetic plush for creating her Teddy Bears.
