Holger und Claudia Schlue , Minkitzbären

Holger und Claudia Schlue is a Miniature Teddy Bear Artist, she lives with her husband and 5 lovely cats in Stuhr near Bremen in the north of Germany. 
 
Claudia started bear making at the end of 1999 with bigger bears, but right from the time she stared making bears, she wanted to make miniature bears. Since 2005, she has exclusively been making miniature bears. She took part in several workshops by Eleonore Unkel-Schäufelin, Rotraud Ilisch and Linda Benson to learn new techniques to improve her skills.
 
Claudia took part in many exhibitions in Germany and the UK.  She also entered several competitions and won some awards. For several years, she also been taking part in Online Shows. All her bears are made exclusively out of high quality materials. She hand dyes most of her fabrics herself. She sews each bear by hand with the greatest care and love from the pattern designed to the last stitch. 
 
When a bear or animal comes to life and puts a smile on the buyer’s face, that makes her very happy and proud that her bears and animals have found new homes almost all over the world. She is also grateful to her collectors for loving her bears and animals.
