Manda Theart lives in sunny South Africa with husband Stan, 2 sons, lovely daughter-in-law and precious grandson, 6 dogs and a cat.

 

Every since she can remember, she has had a love affair with all things small. Manda started making miniature bears and toys 37 years  ago.

 

She works mainly in Polymer clay but loves to mix mediums sometimes. She collaborates from time to time with other artists. She feels very blessed to be able to play for a living. Everything she creates brings a smile to her face as she hopes they do to her collectors.

 

Manda started teaching in 2000 and then realised that there is something that can bring her more joy than creating a masterpiece! To see her students creating beauty using their hands only, without any moulds. Manda is also the author for the book – ‘Miniature Bear Creations in Polymer Clay’, published in 2010.

 

Manda travels to different counties to exhibit her works at selected fairs and teaches her own techniques to students. 

She stands in awe of all the talented artists participating in Singapore Teddy & Friends Online Show!
