Poppy uses a variety of materials and techniques to create her work, particularly mohair and faux fur with occasionally needle felting details on to the faces. 

 

Although her favourite style of bears to make are traditional mohair bears, Poppy now designs and creates a wide range of bears, such as mice, rabbits and even elephants. 

 

Briar Rose Bears range in size from 8″ to 16″ and each is one of a kind. 

Poppy has been featured several times in the Teddy Bear Times magazine.
