Sharon Hale , Shaz Bears

Sharon Hale is an Australian Teddy Bear Artist who has been making Teddies for 25 years. All her bears are hand sewn and filled with steel and Dacron to make them appear heavy and life like.

The outfits are made from the best quality material which has been collected over many years. The needlework is fine and she uses heirloom lace, all the work is over locked and the embroidery is beautifully created. Sharon loves making little 2 ply cardigans and miniature items and all are made exclusively for Shaz Bears.

Every bear she makes is One-of-a-kind and never again repeated. Each bear has high quality English glass eyes. All Sharon’s bears are totally hand sewn with nylon thread to make them last generations. They come complete with swing tag name and limited number as well as a back tag sewn into the bear. Sometimes, she signs the foot of the bear as well.

Sharon teaches every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights and always has a great fun making something great and meeting lovely people.
